At Cœur Sacré, the weekend festivities don’t overshadow everyday life. Every day of the week, from 10 am, the brasserie opens its doors — for those heading up to the basilica, those coming down from the funicular, those working in the neighbourhood, or those who simply want to sit for a moment and take in the view of Paris.
No booking required, no set format: a coffee and a croissant, a salad on the terrace, a lunch special, a sandwich to take away before catching the funicular — you set the pace. The menu changes with the seasons without ever losing its brasserie spirit: generous portions, well-prepared, and no frills.
The brasserie during the day
From morning until early evening, the brasserie is open non-stop. On the covered terrace when the weather permits, or indoors beneath the rotunda’s original roof structure otherwise — always with the basilica in the background, just ten metres from the funicular.
10.00 am – 11.30 am
Breakfast
Pure butter pastries, Lavazza coffee, freshly squeezed juices, fried eggs. For those who want to start the day off right.
12 noon – 3 pm
Lunch
Seasonal salads, daily specials, homemade burgers, croque-monsieur. Quick service for short breaks, or take your time if you prefer.
At any time
Coffee & treats
Today’s pastries, Mariage Frères coffee and teas, herbal teas, and freshly squeezed juices. Stay for an hour or three — the table is all yours.
Takeaway
For those who don’t have time to sit down: the entire brasserie menu is available to take away. Sandwiches made to order, salads in jars, fresh pastries, and coffee by the cup. All served in compostable packaging — we’ve gone the extra mile.
