Sunday at Cœur Sacré begins at 11am and ends at 5pm. In between: a festive brunch, an all-you-can-eat buffet, à la carte hot dishes, and a musical atmosphere that invites you to linger. And, as always, through the windows of the rotunda, the soft light of a Parisian Sunday.
No two-sitting service, no queues in the street, no tables cleared at 2 pm to make room for the next guests. The Cœur Sacré brunch keeps a simple promise: arrive whenever you can, stay as long as you like. The table is yours, from the first croissant to the last coffee. For six hours, just once a week — and that’s the beauty of Sunday.
The Sunday ritual
People come for the view, stay for the buffet, and return for the lighting. When the weather is fine, the two rooftop terraces are open — facing the Eiffel Tower on one side, and with a direct view of the Sacré-Cœur on the other. Inside, beneath the original timber beams and paper lanterns, the tables are spread across two levels: the upper floor, with its cosy atmosphere, is ideal for families, whilst the livelier ground floor is perfect for groups of friends.
On the decks, a playlist that keeps its distance from the party atmosphere: bossa nova, soul, French pop, film soundtracks. The music plays softly in the background, never becoming too loud. At 2 pm, the room is still full. By 4 pm, the regulars start to linger over coffee and conversation — this is the time of day the regulars prefer.
All-you-can-eat buffet and à la carte dishes
The brunch offers a generous buffet — featuring savoury and sweet dishes, as well as pastries — for those who like to put together their own plate, and a selection of hot dishes served at the table for those who prefer to order. Hot drinks and freshly squeezed juices are included in the price. Hot dishes and cocktails are charged separately.
On the sideboard
Scrambled eggs, Scottish smoked salmon, Iberian charcuterie, a selection of mature cheeses, seasonal salads, and pure butter pastries. For those with a sweet tooth: tartlets of the day, mini éclairs, homemade cookies, fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt and granola.
À la carte
Eggs Benedict with salmon, brioche French toast, stacked pancakes with salted caramel, avocado toast with a perfect egg, a Comté cheese croque-monsieur, or the Cœur Sacré breakfast burger for the brave.
